Who We Are
GateKeep provides a Chrome extension and website for Amazon sellers who use Keepa. You can contact us at support@gatekeep.tech.
Website Data
The website may collect standard technical information such as page views, device/browser details, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address, and interaction events through analytics and support tools. The current site uses Google Analytics, Inspectlet, Promotekit, and Crisp chat.
Forms, Email, and Support
If you email us, submit the desktop install-link form, use the mailto install-link fallback, or contact us through Crisp chat, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and any support details you include. The desktop install-link form uses SendGrid to deliver the Chrome Web Store link. We use that information to respond to your request and provide support.
Advertising and Tracking
The website uses Meta Pixel support for advertising measurement. It may track page views and CTA interactions such as free install clicks, desktop install link clicks, leads, and checkout starts.
Payments
GateKeep Pro checkout is handled through Stripe. We do not process card details directly on this website. Stripe may collect payment information, billing information, and transaction details according to Stripe's own privacy and security practices.
Chrome Extension Behavior
Based on the current extension source, GateKeep runs in your browser to provide eligibility signals in Keepa workflows, stores extension settings and recent sourcing/history data in browser storage, and uses licensing/auth services to validate Pro access. GateKeep is designed to avoid collecting your Seller Central password or asking you to hand over Seller Central credentials.
Some Pro and support workflows use Supabase and email services for authentication, license validation, subscription notifications, support archives, or related operational records. Do not send sensitive account credentials through support chat or email.
UTM Attribution
When you visit the site with UTM parameters, the site stores those campaign parameters in session storage and appends them to outbound Chrome Web Store or checkout links. This helps preserve ad attribution without creating duplicate query parameters.
Data Sharing
We use service providers to operate the website, support, analytics, licensing, email, and payment flows. These may include Google Analytics, Inspectlet, Crisp, Promotekit, Stripe, Supabase, and email delivery providers used by GateKeep. We do not sell personal information from the website.
Data Retention
We keep support, licensing, payment, and operational records for as long as needed to provide GateKeep, comply with business obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Owner input is required for exact retention schedules.
Your Choices
You can use browser controls to block cookies, storage, or tracking scripts. You can contact support@gatekeep.tech to request help with privacy questions, account/license support, or data requests.
